Installation

Click the "Free Download Click&Clean" button on this page to start the download.

After download is complete, simply double-click on setup.exe file to begin installation.

During installation you will be prompted to download and install CCleaner if you don't already have it (Pic. 1)

Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

After installation, the Click&Clean icon should appear on your Desktop (Pic. 2) and in the Quick Launch bar (Pic. 3)

First run

Now, to run Click&Clean, all you have to do is 1-click Click&Clean button on the Quick launch bar.

Note: You must have CCleaner installed and configured to work properly in a way that you find most suitable. How to configure CCleaner

At the first start CCleaner may display some warning dialogs (Pic. 4, 5). To prevent CCleaner from displaying the warning messages again, just place a check mark beside "Do not show me this message again" and click the "OK" button.

That's all. Just one click on the Click&Clean button on the Quick Launch bar, and CCleaner will be started and it will erase the internet history and other tracks on your computer safely and completely without any prompts.

Additional features

If you want to add more cleaning options, you will need to add additional arguments. To do that:

1. Right-click on the Click&Clean icon in the Windows Quick Launch bar.

2. Go to Properties and then add any of the following command line arguments to the "Target" field. The arguments are as follows:

  1. cc - to run CCleaner cleanup tool
  2. cc/auto - CCleaner will run "hidden" in the background
  3. firefox - to run "Clear Private Data" in Firefox
  4. ie8 - to run "Delete Browsing History" in IE
  5. ie8/all - to run "Delete Browsing... (all items)" in IE
  6. chrome - to run "Clear Browsing Data" in Chrome
  7. opera - to run "Delete Private Data" in Opera
  8. n360v3 - to run the "Norton 360" cleanup tool
  9. Example:
  10. "C:\Program Files\ClickClean\ClickClean.exe" cc/auto ie8 chrome n360v3 - combination of arguments

You can also create multiple shortcuts with different options for different purposes.
